S\u00e3o Paulo, December 20, 2024<\/strong> \u2013 Ambipar Circular raffled “tuk-tuks,” the tricycles adapted for collecting recyclable materials, for cooperatives that visited the company’s booth during ExpoCatadores 2024, an event that gathered cooperatives from all over Brazil, held at Distrito Anhembi, in S\u00e3o Paulo, on December 18, 19, and 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ambipar Circular is a partnership with ANCAT (National Association of Recyclable Material Collectors), aimed at transforming recycling cooperatives in the country, and was presented during the Expo. The winners are cooperatives located in the states of Rond\u00f4nia, Roraima, Bahia, Cear\u00e1, and Paran\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWinning a gift like this feels amazing. It will help us and others by bringing more materials,\u201d celebrates Marcos Rodrigues de Oliveira, from Copcatar, Rond\u00f4nia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elizeu de Souza, from Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Catadores de Moranguinhos, Paran\u00e1, says: \u201cWinning the electric tricycle is wonderful, indescribable. It will further assist our work, which is so important for the environment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTotal emotion, it was a blessing from God. Now we\u2019ll be able to collect and bring materials to our warehouse, and it will be great. We don\u2019t have this (electric tricycle) in our municipality,\u201d celebrates Carlos Magno Marques, from Cata Tudo, Roraima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C\u00edcera Maria de Lima, from Associa\u00e7\u00e3o de Catadores e Catadoras de Juazeiro do Norte, Cear\u00e1, explains: \u201cWe are at the end of ExpoCatadores 2024 with the Ambipar Circular team, who came to support our association with the tricycle, and we are grateful to Ambipar for this raffle. It will improve the lives of collectors.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elizabeth Santana dos Santos, from Recicla Jacobina, Bahia, was the fifth winner and will also count on the tuk-tuk for daily waste collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ambipar Circular, in partnership with ANCAT, aims to accelerate the businesses of cooperatives by implementing a management system that contributes to improving organization and infrastructure. The model works through the structuring of Waste Sorting Centers and was presented during the three-day event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
