S\u00e3o Paulo, October 22, 2024 \u2013<\/strong> Ambipar, a Brazilian multinational and global leader in environmental solutions, will bring the Circular Pack<\/strong> seal, the only one in the country with its own operation ensuring end-to-end traceability of post-consumer packaging, to Waste Expo Brazil, taking place from October 22 to 24 at Expo Center Norte in S\u00e3o Paulo. The event is the largest in Latin America focused on comprehensive solid waste management, recycling, public cleaning, urban sanitation, and sustainable energy generation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

D<\/a>eveloped by Ambipar, Circular Pack is a reverse logistics certification that enables the proper disposal of recyclable materials, promoting social and environmental impact. The seal represents a commitment to sustainability and the circular economy and also functions as a environmental compensation<\/strong> certification for packaging generated for consumption, ensuring they are properly disposed of and recycled after use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reverse logistics certification ensures that companies comply with the National Solid Waste Policy (PNRS), established by Decree 12.305\/2010. Federal legislation requires manufacturers, merchants, distributors, and importers to demonstrate reverse logistics for at least 30% of the packaging placed on the market.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The compensation is carried out by Ambipar, as a Management Entity authorized by the Ministry of the Environment, through the approval of invoices containing information on material type, collection location, and destination, ensuring integrity and transparency in the acquisition of legitimate, duplicate-free credits from reliable sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on sales information and the weight of packaging, the amount of paper, plastic, metal, or glass<\/strong> that needs to be compensated is calculated. Ambipar’s process covers everything from material collection across society on a national scale to the proper disposal, strengthening the recycling chain by including cooperatives and increasing the volume of recyclable materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
