The innovative circular economy model, successfully implemented in various Brazilian municipalities by Ambipar, and launched in the State by the Bank of the State of Esp\u00edrito Santo (Banestes), has been encouraging the correct disposal of recyclable waste through Retorna Machines, which serve as voluntary collection points for waste in high-traffic locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Two new points are available for the population of Esp\u00edrito Santo, one at the Legislative Assembly and the other at the facilities of the Public Ministry of Esp\u00edrito Santo, both in Vit\u00f3ria. A total of 10 machines are available for collection. In addition to the two new points, voluntary delivery can be made at Moxuara Shopping (Cariacica), Mestre \u00c1lvaro Shopping (Serra), the Vila Velha Forum, Boulevard Shopping (Vila Velha), \u00c1lvares Cabral Club, the Court of Justice (headquarters), Palas Center building (Banestes administrative headquarters), and the State Government headquarters, Pal\u00e1cio Anchieta, in Vit\u00f3ria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The machine can accept plastic bottles, milk cartons, aluminum and steel cans, glass bottles, among other types of packaging. The deposit of these products generates a credit for the citizen, which can later be used for discounts on electricity, water, telephone bills, and even public transportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The reverse logistics driven by the project contributes to environmental preservation and socioeconomic development by generating credits that can be used for benefits or donated to social institutions, in addition to promoting collective awareness about the correct disposal of recyclable materials and the importance of the circular economy,” emphasizes Banestes’ Director of Risks and Control and ESG, Joseane Zoghbi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
