A truck spilled a suspicious powder on the BR-116, near km 153, in Mandirituba, on the morning of Thursday (5). (Photo: Reproduction).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to information from the Fire Department, the truck spilled the product on the road and did not stop. As a result, it was not possible to identify the party responsible for the transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The powdered product is yellow and turns purple when wet. Still, according to the information provided by the team, the powder causes slight irritation in the nostrils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is not yet confirmed what the substance is, but it is suspected to be potassium permanganate, a chemical compound with antiseptic, antibacterial, and antifungal properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The area was isolated, and the company Ambipar<\/strong> was contacted for cleaning and removal of the product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
