247 – Ambipar and BYD have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a strategic partnership that reinforces their commitment to sustainability and innovation. The agreement includes replacing Ambipar’s fleet with BYD electric vehicles, as well as managing the automaker’s environmental operations in Brazil, including environmental licensing, waste treatment, battery reverse logistics, and decarbonization.
“This partnership is essential to address the environmental challenges we are facing and reflects our commitment to sustainable development. We are confident that this agreement will be an important step toward meeting the agenda of global impact solutions, aiming to mitigate the effects of climate change on our society,” said Fabrício Fonseca, CEO of Ambipar Environment.
