This intensive 40-hour provides hands-on training and real-life scenarios allowing the student to gain confidence in this dangerous environment.
The skills taught include:
- Rescuer safety
- Communication systems
- Lock-out, tag-out
- Rope systems for confined space entry & rescue.
- Equipment selection.
- Knots, anchors, lowering systems
- Knot passing through rappels
- Raising and lowering systems; systems safety
factors - Practical application is taught through scenarios
drawn from actual rescue experiences, and
more.
