In the simulation, actions such as identification and containment of hazardous materials, fire extinguishing, and extrication and extraction of victims were performed.
The Military Fire Department of Mato Grosso (CBMMT) conducted a simulated traffic accident with fuel transport and victims trapped in wreckage in Guarantã do Norte (710 km from Cuiabá). The aim of this type of activity is to improve the response provided by the professionals involved and reduce response time.
The training took place at the toll plaza near the city of Guarantã do Norte, simulating real situations and increasing the level of complexity of the incident.
The event had various simultaneous interventions, managed by the Military Fire Department, with the support of the involved agencies. In the simulation, actions included the identification and containment of hazardous materials, fire extinguishing, extrication and extraction of victims, and transportation to the hospital.
The simulation was conducted through the Military Fire Department Nucleus of Guarantã do Norte, in conjunction with public entities such as the Municipal Government of Guarantã do Norte, Municipal Government of Matupá, State Department of the Environment, DNIT, and the companies Via Brasil, the concessionaire of BR-163 (between Sinop and Guarantã do Norte), and Ambipar Company.
