In its first edition, ESSENTIA selects 5 startups for pilot projects.

Adeste, a company that transforms natural products into major businesses, offering innovative solutions for the health, food, and animal nutrition sectors, has chosen 5 startups for the pilot phase of the company’s open innovatio

The first edition of the program aims to solve challenges for operational efficiency in various processes related to areas such as personnel management, logistics intelligence, risk management, quality assurance, and strategic sourcing. ESSENTIA is being supported by Innoscience, a Corporate Innovation Consultancy that provides knowledge, methods, and experiences to help established companies generate results and profit from innovation.

“We are very pleased to announce the startups selected for the first edition of ESSENTIA. Adeste is a company that has innovation in its DNA, and the program once again demonstrates how seriously we take this topic here,” says Cristina Varella Amorim, CHRO and Director of Innovation at Adeste.

Meet the startups

For the Intelligent Management of Environmental Requirements challenge, the chosen one was Ambipar Green Tech, a São Paulo-based company that offers technology for high Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance.

For the succession tracks based on Structure and Intelligent Competency Analysis, the selected one was Shooju, a startup present in more than 7 countries, specializing in data management and streamlining and improving data flows. Regarding the Electronic Production and Quality Control Dossier challenge, the mining startup Ledcorp, which specializes in information logistics solutions, caught the attention of Adeste’s team of experts.

Murabei, also from São Paulo, was selected for the Intelligent Management of Raw Material Procurement Quality challenge. The startup specializes in software development and offers a scientific approach to improve understanding and decision-making for businesses.

“These startups will play a fundamental role in this first edition of the program, as they will work alongside Adeste in search of solutions for our major challenges,” concludes Cristina.
