Those who dispose of recyclable packaging correctly receive points that become benefits in the Return Machines Project.

Six bus terminals in Salvador, managed by CCR Metrô Bahia, will receive machines for the correct disposal of recyclable waste, such as plastic mineral water bottles, soda cans and other packaging. Recyclable material can be taken to the Pirajá, Retiro, Acesso Norte, Rodoviária, Pituaçu and Airport terminals – and will generate benefits for those who contribute to recycling!

The packaging must be placed in the Return Machines, machines created by Ambipar Triciclo to transform recyclable packaging into raw material for new products. In partnership with CCR Metrô Bahia, the company wants to offer the population of Salvador a practical and sustainable way to promote recycling in the city. The environment wins and those who collaborate win.

After creating your account, on the website, Triciclo app or at the Return Machine itself, and disposing of the recyclable packaging, whoever deposits the packaging in the machines earns points that can be exchanged for benefits such as cell phone recharge, bookstore credit, invoice discounts energy, among others.

“We need to engage society about the importance of preserving the environment today and for future generations. And we, as a company, play a key role in this regard. Our idea is to build more and more partnerships like this one, which are interested in investing in post-consumer logistics. By the end of the first quarter of 2023, we intend to distribute around three hundred Return Machines in all states in the Northeast region”, explains Felipe Lagrotta Nassar Cury, CEO of Ambipar Triciclo.

Soon, new Return Machines will be installed at the stations of the Salvador and Lauro de Freitas Metro System, impacting more than 340,000 people daily.

“For us it is a great satisfaction to be able to participate in this partnership. As a human mobility company, we are committed to encouraging, raising awareness and inviting our customers and employees to rethink their practices and unite in favor of a more sustainable planet”, says André Costa, director of CCR Metrô Bahia.
