OBJECTIVE:

The five-day intensive course, fully compliant with the US Governments CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) HazWOpER course takes participants through a series of modules that cover the key aspects of a chemical incident response.

The course provides the opportunity to practice the theory through a selection of exercises, including a real time response in a full encapsulation suit using breathing apparatus.

Delegates will follow a programme which introduces them to Hazmat products developing a safety first ethos. The programme then provides an opportunity for delegates to identify risks and report hazards.

Upon successful completion of the course, including the “level-A-dress-out” (full encapsulation suit exercise) delegates will be awarded an internationally recognised 40hr HazWOpER certificate.

Professionals in the sectors of transport, shipping, traffic, QSMS, public agencies or other sectors that constitute the emergency brigade of the institution.
