According to information from the Fire Department, the truck spilled the product on the road and did not stop. As a result, it was not possible to identify the party responsible for the transport.
The powdered product is yellow and turns purple when wet. Still, according to the information provided by the team, the powder causes slight irritation in the nostrils.
It is not yet confirmed what the substance is, but it is suspected to be potassium permanganate, a chemical compound with antiseptic, antibacterial, and antifungal properties.
The area was isolated, and the company Ambipar was contacted for cleaning and removal of the product.
