This 1 day (8 hours) course is specifically targeted at those who will be undertaking shoreline surveys as part of a SCAT programme.

The course covers the basic principles and objectives of SCAT, introducing delegates to it’s foundations and purpose.

The main priority of the training course is to familiarise delegates with a SCAT form and how to undertake and effective survey of a shoreline segment.

The course highlights the specific sections of a SCAT form and the skills required to assess the shoreline and populate the form accordingly.

The course is a blend of both classroom based theory and shoreline based practical to develop both capability and competency in undertaking a SCAT survey.
