This training program is offered through the ISAS-accredited delivery by Ambipar Response. It consists of two courses, one lasting 1 hour and the other 3 hours, each targeting different aspects of spill awareness and response.
The 1-hour session builds upon Spill Awareness Theory and can be delivered independently. Participants engage in hands-on exercises, familiarizing themselves with response strategies and tools. Tailored to your specific needs, it can focus on on-site spill resources or provide an overview of response strategies, and can be held indoors or outdoors based on risk assessment.
The 3-hour course Spill Awareness Practical equips first responders with techniques to address various types of spills, including oils, chemicals, effluent, and foodstuffs. It covers response procedures, prevention measures, and deployment of appropriate equipment. Delivered online or on-site, the course is ISAS-accredited with a practical component, adaptable within the accreditation framework.
