The 1.5 day (12 hours) course is a natural progression from the MCA 1P and aimed at personnel that will be involved in the front line clean-up following an oil spill, mainly within the energy production and transport services or at ports and harbours. The course can also be used to train nominated members of an oil spill response team.

The course outline is a blend of theory and practical exercises to provide delegates with hands on experience of using response equipment. The course can be held at an Ambipar Response training facility or at a suitable location which is convenient for the delegates.

There is an overview of the various techniques used for recovering spilled oil and cleaning contaminated shorelines so that delegates can become more effective participants in an oil spill response team.

Ambipar Response instructors are able to adapt the course exercises to be as appropriate to the delegate as possible looking at their own equipment and contingency plans.
