This 3 day (24 hours) course is specifically targeted at those who would be responsible for managing and coordinating a shoreline survey and clean-up operation to either oil, plastics, HNS or container debris.

The course covers everything from the foundations of the Shoreline Clean-Up Assessment Technique (SCAT) all the way through to documentation and record keeping procedures.

The course highlights the specific challenges of designing and implementing a shoreline survey and response operation in a range of shoreline environments. Covering key assessment and planning actions from the strategic setting of objectives and working towards achievable endpoints.

The course is a blend of both theory and practical exercises conducted within the classroom and at suitable shoreline locations.
