OBJECTIVE:

To Train operational staff to respond and manage incidents safely, efficiently and effectively.

The 3 day 24 hour course is a practical based course designed for staff with a responsible role within their organisation and who may be required to lead a response team following an oil spill.

The course is very practical based with a range of hands on exercises which are covered by a theory section. The course can be either be held at a training facility or at a suitable location, convenient for the delegates.

Throughout the course there is a complete overview of techniques used to recover, contain and mitigate contamination following an oil spill. The course covers both large and small oil spill events so delegates gain a wide range of knowledge and skill.
