The challenge
Develop a recycling process for Dolce Gusto capsules and transform the resin into raw material for new products.
What was done
Ambipar’s product development team together with DG developed a plastic resin that can be applied in industrial processes already known in Brazil.
Result
Thousands of capsules being transformed into DG brand accessories.
The first product made by Ambipar from recycled resin from post-consumer capsules was the RENOVE capsule holder that is being sold on the company’s website.
