Ocean plastic packaging

The challenge was to remove and reuse plastics from beaches and shores, converting waste into new products.

Positiv.a teamed up with Ambipar to develop innovative packaging that generates a positive impact. Through visits to cooperatives on the coast of São Paulo, Positiva understood more deeply the “waste problem” and thus we started the CLEAN OCEAN project.

The raw material of the bottle is 100% post consumption!

The material is purchased and sorted by color, from Ambipar’s partner cooperatives that operate on the coast of São Paulo, mainly in Santos, preventing this garbage from ending up in the ocean! Ambipar transforms this waste into a new raw material that is used in packaging made with recycled plastic!

The result was a product line with recycled packaging made with ocean plastic.
