São Paulo, 14 de outubro de 2024 – Ambipar (AMBP3), a Brazilian multinational and global leader in environmental solutions, will now count on the services of Roberto Azevêdo, who will hold the title of Global Operations President. The former Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) began his work last week.
The former ambassador of Itamaraty will bring his vast experience in international business aligned with the company’s core business, which operates in more than 40 countries. Azevêdo will establish connections with governments and the private sector, as well as follow the evolution of regulatory milestones and guidelines from intergovernmental forums, seeking opportunities where there is an appetite to advance sustainability and environmental protection agendas.

Roberto Azevêdo was part of the WTO from 2013 to 2020, and in addition to being a former career ambassador of Itamaraty, he was a global vice president at PepsiCo. He is currently a partner at YvY, a green fund manager, and a corporate consultant.
