São Paulo, November 5, 2024 – Ambipar (AMBP3), a global leader in environmental solutions, will be strengthening its sustainable business division with a high-profile name. Former Minister of the Environment, Izabella Teixeira, has assumed the role of President of the company’s Global Sustainability Committee this month.
Izabella is one of the most renowned figures in defending environmental and climate policies in Brazil. She joins Ambipar to bring nearly 40 years of experience in the field and states that one of the reasons for accepting the company’s invitation is the opportunity to work at a Brazilian company with a global operation.

Izabella Teixeira served as Minister of the Environment from 2010 to 2016. After leaving the ministry, she became Co-President of the UN International Resource Panel, a Climate Change Consultant at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (Cebri), and is a member of several corporate boards and councils.
