The objective of the partnership is to develop local capabilities, promote innovation, and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and technology between the parties.

Ambipar and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority (ADCDA) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) to support the emirate in solutions for industrial services and emergency response.

“This partnership allows us to contribute to the emirate’s long-term growth by promoting innovation, building local capacity, and supporting the sustainable development of its industrial sector,” says Tercio Bolenghi Jr., CEO of Ambipar.

The objective of the partnership is to develop local capacity, promote innovation, and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and technology between the parties so that the region’s industrial park evolves in safety and sustainability, Ambipar states.

The company points out that “under the terms of the agreement, the parties will identify ways to promote awareness of industrial emergency response, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s commitment to leading innovation in operational safety and emergency management.”

“Ambipar’s expertise in decommissioning services for industrial plants, ships, and floating production, storage, and offloading units (FPSOs) is expected to play a key role in enabling the emirate to manage critical infrastructure sustainably,” Ambipar notes.

The signing took place during Abu Dhabi Business Week (ADBW), held in the United Arab Emirates, and was attended by Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

The memorandum is part of ADIO’s efforts to attract foreign capital to the UAE’s capital.

“This collaboration marks a key milestone in Abu Dhabi’s efforts to strengthen the resilience and sustainability of its industrial sector, one of the main drivers of the emirate’s economic acceleration goals,” says Mohammad Al Kamali, Director of Trade and Industry at ADIO.

“In partnership with companies like Ambipar, we are accelerating the transfer of knowledge, technology, and expertise to support the growth of a more sustainable and innovative industrial landscape. Our shared commitment to sustainability, industrial excellence, and safety will ensure that Abu Dhabi’s industrial sector remains prepared to face the challenges of an ever-changing global landscape,” he concludes.
