Your plastic bottle of mineral water or can of soda can now provide you with financial benefits. CCR Metrô Bahia and Ambipar Triciclo bring the Return Machine Project to Salvador, a practical and sustainable way to boost recycling through machines that allow the collection of post-consumer packaging.
Located in six bus terminals managed by CCR Metrô Bahia — Pirajá, Retiro, Acesso Norte, Rodoviária, Pituaçu and Airport —, the Returns are part of a circular economy program that encourages the correct disposal of packaging, encouraging customers to create the recycling habit. Soon, the customer will also be able to find the Return Machine at the stations of the Salvador and Lauro de Freitas Metro System, impacting more than 340 thousand people daily.
For users, in addition to being beneficial to the environment, it is profitable to participate. After creating their account, on the website, Triciclo application or at the Return Machine itself, and disposing of recyclable packaging, they can gain benefits such as cell phone recharge, bookstore credit, discounts on energy bills, among others.
