NR 33 – Confined Spaces – Supervisor

OBJECTIVE:

Establish the minimum requirements for the identification of confined spaces and the recognition, assessment, monitoring and control of existing risks, in order to permanently guarantee the safety and health of workers who interact directly or indirectly in these spaces.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Person qualified to operate the entry permit with responsibility to complete and sign documents for the development of safe entry and work within confined spaces.

• Identification of confined spaces
• Criteria for indication and use of equipment for risk control
• Knowledge on safe practices in confined spaces
• Occupational safety and health legislation
• Respiratory protection program
• Classified area
• Rescue operations
