The goal is to make all public communication accessible to all audiences, including people with disabilities, allowing them to access, understand, and interact with online content effectively. This ensures compliance with the accessibility resources outlined in applicable legislation (Statute of the Person with Disabilities – Law No. 13,146/2015), in conjunction with current standards (International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities – Decree No. 6,949/2009), and meets the national minimum standard according to the Electronic Government Accessibility Model (eMAG), with an evaluation of 95%.
Main accessibility tools and features:
- Vlibras: real-time translation of digital content (such as texts, icons, menus, and/or buttons) into Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) through an interactive animated avatar;
- Keyboard navigation: navigation through the “tab” keys (next navigation item: menu, submenu, link, button, form fields, combos, etc.) and “shift tab” (go back to the previous navigation item: menu, submenu, link, button, form fields, combos, etc.), allowing digital content navigation without a mouse, using only the keyboard;
- Color contrast: monochromatic or colored view;
- Text size: functions to (a) increase text size (font), (b) decrease text size, and (c) convert text to a readable font (Arial font for better readability);
- Highlighting Contents: features to (a) underline links, (b) underline headers, and (c) activate image descriptions (via ALT content for image description);
- Screen zoom: tools to (a) increase screen zoom, (b) enlarged cursor in white, and (c) enlarged cursor in black;
- Text, image, form, and combo item to voice converter using AI technology;
- Reset settings to the default standard.
