Conservation Units can be Municipal, State or Federal.
LEASING OF ENVIRONMENTAL EASEMENT
Annual payment (R$/hectare/year)
The areas must be equivalent, be in the same biome and preferably in the same state
The legal reserve will be endorsed to the property with a deficit for the lease term, at least 15 years
The Lessor (owner) is responsible for maintaining the Environmental Easement
There is no additional area to be compensated
The Environmental Easement and the Contract must be registered in the registration of properties
After the term’s end, it is necessary to renew the contract or proceed with a new lease in another property.
ACQUISITION OF ENVIRONMENTAL RESERVE SHARES (CRA)
Only available in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul
One-time payment (R$/hectare)
The areas must be equivalent, be in the same biome and preferably in the same state
The legal reserve will be endorsed to the property registration with a deficit
The Seller is responsible for the maintenance of the area
There is no additional area to be compensated
The CRA and the Contract must be registered in the property’s real state register
It is not necessary to dismember nor the documents resulting from the new register
