São Paulo, December 2, 2024 – Ambipar, a leader in environmental solutions, launched Ambipar MENA in November, its first office in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), aiming to strengthen relationships with potential clients and support them in meeting the environmental goals adopted by the region to promote more sustainable economic development. The new office will showcase the company’s portfolio of environmental and circular economy solutions.
Ambipar is a Brazilian-based company operating across six continents and more than 40 countries, providing innovative environmental services to various sectors worldwide. In the UAE, Ambipar will have offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with operations set to begin in January 2025, according to Ambipar CEO, Tercio Borlenghi Jr.

The UAE has been implementing measures to promote circularity, including the expansion of recycling infrastructure, with a goal of diverting 75% of waste from landfills by 2030. The country also aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
