After an intense cycle of almost 50 acquisitions since its IPO (initial public offering of shares), in 2020, Ambipar should slow down the company’s purchase strategy, according to the financial director, Thiago Silva
“In 2023, let’s look a little deeper into the house. The group has already managed to create an ecosystem, which grows organically. We are looking at this year with capital discipline. We already used the IPO resources, we used third-party capital [to grow]. Now we are still at a healthy level, but we are going to look more inwards”, said the executive to Valor.
According to him, the objective is to maintain Ambipar’s pace of expansion this year, but now through organic growth, and not so much through acquisitions.
