Ambipar Response shares are now traded on NYSE

Ambipar Participações (AMBP3) announced on Monday, 6th, that on March 3rd, after fulfilling all corporate and regulatory requirements, the business combination between Emergência Participações (Ambipar Response) and HPX Corp (HPX), announced in July 2022, was completed.

“This business combination strengthens a leading company in the environmental services sector, combining Ambipar Response’s expertise in emergency response and environmental management with HPX’s financial and strategic partnership,” highlighted Ambipar Participações.

Starting today, the common shares and warrants of Ambipar Response will be traded on NYSE American under the codes “AMBI” and “AMBI.WS,” respectively.

According to a market announcement, the completion of this transaction allows Ambipar Response to accelerate global business expansion, bringing its recognized quality, standard of excellence in service, and extensive service portfolio to all geographies.

Ambipar Response is present in thirty-nine countries across six continents, has over three hundred operational bases, and is a global reference provider for emergency response, industrial, and environmental services, addressing the environmental and sustainability agenda, serving sectors such as chemicals, petrochemicals, mining, transportation, pulp and paper, utilities, among others.

The transaction values the company at over $174 million, resulting in a reduction in Ambipar’s leverage, which holds 70.8% of the capital and 96.0% of the voting rights.
