Ambipar, a leading multinational in environmental management, entered into a partnership with the UN Global Compact to promote the “Ambition 2030” Project, which aims to allow and inspire a positive impact on the environment, society and the global market, creating value for the company and consumers. To achieve the objectives outlined, the project is based on proposed actions, goals and commitments in areas such as climate change, human rights, employees’ mental health, water management and gender and racial equality. The launch event of the new UN Global Compact strategy for the coming years will take place at the Matarazzo Ballroom at the Hotel Rosewood São Paulo, on April 25th.

The launch will bring together the main CEOs and leaders of the Brazilian private sector to discuss the sustainable planning of organizations that aim to operate in the reduction of environmental risks. In addition to the audience, Jeffrey Sachs, American economist specializing in sustainable development, Sanda Ojiambo, global CEO of the UN Global Compact, and Silvia Rucks, resident coordinator of the UN System in Brazil, are also confirmed.
