The certification was developed by Ambipar Certification and is endorsed by INMETRO.

Titan Pneus, the tire industry with the longest operating history in Brazil, is the first company to receive the Ambipar Group’s Green Seal, a leading multinational in environmental management.

Developed by Ambipar Certification and validated by the General Coordination of Accreditation of INMETRO (National Institute of Metrology, Quality, and Technology), the Green Seal attests to compliance with legislation, waste valorization, companies’ participation in the circular economy, and compliance, at different levels, with the requirements of the PNRS (National Policy on Solid Waste), adding more value to the business. Additionally, the certification can also qualify for “Zero Landfill” and “Circular Economy” practices of audited companies, reaffirming their character and commitment to the environment and sustainability.

“We are very happy to receive Ambipar’s Green Seal. Our mission is not to cause environmental impacts on soil, water, air, and ecosystems. Approximately 98% of all waste generated in our factory is recycled, coprocessed, and used in composting. The Ambipar Certification Green Seal, the first one endorsed by INMETRO, confirms our commitment to the Circular Economy,” celebrates Edson Tebaldi, General Director of Titan Pneus.

Titan has been a client of Ambipar for over 15 years. We know all their processes up close, and having them as the first company to receive the Green Seal leaves us extremely satisfied and certain of this recognition,” explains Elaine Moreira, Technical Director of Ambipar Certification.
