Founded in 1999, the Brazilian company Verde Ghaia, now named Ambipar VG, is the first Brazilian company to offer compliance and management services with a focus on sustainability. Starting from 2001, another innovation occurred: the software became online, adopting agile methodologies and gaining new features more rapidly.
Currently, SOGI holds over 110,000 regulations in its database. Its artificial intelligence captures laws in real-time to update its information and, of course, serve its clients.
Ambipar VG’s solutions are always guided by ESG practices (Environmental, Social, and Governance). These are the three decisive spheres for a company to declare itself sustainable. Ambipar VG becomes the third business arm of Ambipar, which already includes Ambipar Environment (a pioneer in industrial waste management and valorization) and Ambipar Response (specializing in crisis management and environmental emergency response). Through the merger with Ambipar, VG aims to expand its services and offer more comprehensive and complex products to clients, while maintaining ethics and socio-environmental responsibility.
Ambipar, on the other hand, assumes the market leadership in environmental management software and systems (Greentech). This is another step towards its goal of providing complete ESG solutions to clients.
