Have you ever imagined if recyclable packaging that would be discarded could be converted into public transportation and prepaid cell phone credit, bonus in the electricity bill, or discounts at bookstores? Ambev and Triciclo, affiliated with the Ambipar Group, have installed 10 machines in the city of São Paulo, known as “Retorna Machine,” for depositing post-consumer packaging, as part of a loyalty and reward program.
To participate, it is necessary to create a free Triciclo digital account through the website https://triciclo.eco.br/en/ or the Triciclo app (iOS and Android). After that, you just need to deposit the packaging into the machine to start earning points and receiving “tricoins,” which are the exchange points for the benefits. The Retorna Machine collects all types of recyclable materials such as plastic, glass, aluminum, steel, and long-life packaging.
The Retorna Machine can be found at the metropolitan terminals Jabaquara, Diadema, Piraporinha, São Bernardo do Campo, São Mateus, and Santo André Oeste, in the ABD Corridor managed by EMTU, at the República station of Line 4-Yellow of the subway, operated by ViaQuatro, and at Rede Duque gas stations, located at the following addresses: Av. Juscelino Kubitscheck, 909; Av. Hélio Pellegrino, 1,701; and Av. Pedroso de Morais, 2,741.
