Environmental and industrial services company is the ninth acquisition of the Brazilian company in North America.
Ambipar announced the purchase of Canadian Hydrovac, a company that operates in environmental emergencies and industrial services. It is the company’s ninth acquisition in North America. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
According to Ambipar, Emerge Hydrovac has three operational bases in the country and has earned 6.5 million Canadian dollars (about US$ 5.1 million) in the last 12 months. With the acquisition, the Brazilian company now has 23 bases in the US and Canada.
Ambipar, which has model Gisele Bündchen among its shareholders, has two divisions, environment and response. In the first, the objective is the recovery of waste, with a focus on the circular economy. In other words, how a PET bottle thrown in the trash can return to the production chain.
