Ambipar improves final assessment and remains in the ISE portfolio in 2023

Ambipar – Brazilian multinational leader in environmental management – ​​started the year with excellent news: the company remained in the portfolio of the 2023 Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) of B3, improving its final assessment in relation to the previous year.

The first environmental management company to be listed on the São Paulo Stock Exchange, the company has been part of the ISE portfolio since it became eligible to be part of it, after its listing in July 2020. It is among the 10 best-ranked companies ( with a score of 83.40) improving its assessment in relation to the previous year, when it reached 79.04 out of a possible 100.

With this performance, Ambipar won the 7th position among the best evaluated companies in the portfolio in 2023. The evaluation reflects the company’s purpose with the ESG agenda, which is aimed at proven decarbonization efforts with the evolution in the CDP evaluation. In December 2022, the company achieved grade B (“management”), which demonstrates Ambipar’s commitment to reaching the highest level among institutions considered “leaders” (grade A) in the fight against climate change.

Once again, Ambipar confirms its ability to align rapid and continuous growth of its businesses with the construction of a sustainable economy, reinforcing its mission to preserve and regenerate the planet for future generations. The 18th ISE portfolio will comprise shares of 70 companies selected for their recognized commitment to corporate sustainability.
