The company stands out in ESG practices

Ambipar Group was elected as “Company of the Year”, by the Guia Melhores do ESG 2022, by EXAME Magazine. The announcement took place in São Paulo, on the night of 06/23, during the “ESG Highlight of the Year” award ceremony.
The company stands out in ESG practices mainly because of the nature and purpose of its business. It is the first environmental management company to be listed on the Stock Exchange. In 2021, it entered the ISE B3 portfolio, ranked among the 10+.
The Environment and Response segments serve the market with the promotion of sustainable solutions that contribute to the management and recovery of waste, as well as to the response and emergency of environmental risks.
“This achievement reflects all our commitment to environmental, social and governance practices and, in this way, we continue to strengthen sustainability, reinforcing the mission of preserving the planet for future generations.
The ESG Guide is a partnership between Exame and Ibmec. More than 200 companies signed up and answered the questionnaire, which has a quantitative and a qualitative part, each with 50% of the weight. In the quantitative part, the companies answered 45 questions, the same for all sectors, which addressed environmental, social and governance aspects.
The ESG Best Award is not a ranking. The methodology was developed to reflect each company’s moment in its ESG journey.
