Distribution and Transport Meeting 2022 will be held in November

Representatives from more than 15 countries will be meeting in Costa do Sauípe, Bahia, between the 20th and 23rd of November.

The 2022 Distribution and Transport Meeting will be held on November 22nd, in parallel with the Clorosur Technical Seminar, in Costa do Sauípe (BA), and will have the participation of producers and partners responsible for the distribution, commercialization and transport of products from the chlor-alkali sector in Brazil.

The event will be an excellent opportunity for players involved in the transport of products in the sector to share experiences, discuss challenges and evaluate alternatives for continuous improvement in the practices and techniques of transport and distribution of their products and derivatives.

José Tardivo Award

Closing the activities of the 2022 Distribution and Transport Meeting, Abiclor will deliver the 21st Edition José Tardivo Award to the carrier that stood out in the safe transport of the chlor-alkali sector in the 2021/2022 period.

The José Tardivo award is granted by Abiclor to the company that presents the best safety, health and environment practices in the transport of products from the chlor-alkali industry. The award is a tribute to the president of the Brazilian Association of Transporters of Liquid Cargo and Dangerous Products (ABTLP), which allowed the approximation between the chlorine and soda sector and the carriers. Back in 1998 Tardivo worked together with Abiclor in setting up and carrying out the first Chlorine, Alkali and Derivatives Transport Meeting.
