How the Return Machine works

Ambipar Triciclo integrated Neoenergia into its benefit partner card, which grants the user discounts on the electricity bill.
With the aim of bringing even more benefits to tricycle users, Triciclo and Neoenergia carried out technological integration to include Neoenergia’s Vale Luz Program in the Triciclo Loyalty and Rewards Program. Thus, any user will be able to convert their tricoins into a discount on the energy bill of Elektro SP, Neoenergia Brasília, Coelba (Bahia), Cosern (Rio Grande do Norte) and Neoenergia Pernambuco. For every 150 tricoins, the user can request a discount of R$1.00 on the identified energy bill.
The Return Machine is a reverse vending machine, linked to the Tricycle Benefits Program, which collects post-consumer packaging and returns various benefits to the depositor. With each discard, the user receives a score, which can be turned into a discount on the electricity bill or reverted into donations to charitable entities. With a focus on innovation and customer autonomy, the equipment has touch screen technology, which explains, on the screen itself, how to change materials and receive their benefits.
All discarded material must be sanitized and contain a readable barcode. It is by reading the bar code that the machine counts the points. Each user must be registered in the Triciclo Loyalty Program and will be able to discard up to 25 packages per day to convert the discount into the energy bill.
The exchange can be carried out through the Return Machine screen itself, Triciclo official website or our application (available in IOS or Andoid). The benefit is already enabled for cities that have the Neoenergia service and that have our Return.
How the Return Machine works
The ‘Retorna Machines’ collect post-consumer packaging made of PE, PP, PET plastic, glass, aluminum, steel and long-life plastic. Using the bar code, they read the deposited material, and then calculate the score for each one of them.
These points are called ‘tricoins’ and become available to anyone who creates an account on the Triciclo website or app (available for iOS and Andoid systems). Recycling packaging generates credits for cell phone recharge, public transport balance, discounts on the energy bill, products at Livraria Saraiva or cash redemption through an account opened at Pagbank and Mercado Pago.
