Ambipar offers the “Secure Destruction” service, and for this purpose, we maintain a Document and Packaging Destruction Center. This facility is designed to meet the rigorous needs of obsolescence decharacterization of materials and prints, prioritizing maximum brand protection.
We work with various types of materials for destruction, such as: archived files, outdated financial statements and documents, checks, leaflets, cartridges, confidential documents, books, packaging, obsolete electronic parts, automotive parts, and other materials.
Due to our commitment to the environment, after the destruction/decharacterization process of the materials, any reusable waste is directed for recycling as raw material for the transformation market.
For the removal of materials destined for decharacterization, Ambipar has licensed and regulated vehicles, as well as closed containers with a capacity of up to 29 m³, which can be sealed and opened under supervision, ensuring greater reliability to the process.
In our facility, we have an electronically calibrated scale, and all collected/received material for destruction is weighed before initiating any process, creating a record of the quantity and traceability of the material to be decharacterized.
For the decharacterization of materials, parts, and/or coils through mechanical fragmentation, we have machines such as mills, shredders, shredders, deveining machines, and alligator presses, with a capacity of up to 30 tons per hour. Depending on the requirements, we also have equipment that allows for trimming up to 6 mm in width, with a capacity of up to 1 ton per hour, which prevents any identification of the content used for documents that require specific confidentiality.
The entire decharacterization process can be monitored by a company representative or independent auditors. Upon completion of the process, Ambipar provides a “Material Decharacterization Report,” which is considered important for companies that have or seek certification for their Quality and Environmental system.
If requested, we also perform photographic documentation of the entire process, where we also assemble a presentation of how the entire destruction process was carried out. This serves as a complement to the Destruction Report. At the end of the month, we send a Certificate of Disposal, confirming that all material was collected and/or received by Ambipar for destruction and that the material has received environmentally correct disposal.
Our main clients in this area are: Banks, Publishers, Food Industries, Appliance Manufacturers, or any company that needs to destroy products from a “campaign” or promotional period.
As we are also a recycling company, depending on the material generated (paper, plastic, and metal), its quality and volume, we can add value to it after the destruction process by reusing it as raw material, providing a monetary return to the client.
Depending on the distance and volume, transportation and labor costs for the assistant provided for the service will be charged.
If the material is delivered to any of our units in São Paulo and/or Itu/SP, there will be no transportation costs regardless of the quantity.
In the case of non-recyclable destroyed materials, the transportation cost to the landfill, as well as the fee charged for disposal at the landfill, will be passed on.
In the case of waste valorization, an invoice must be issued against Ambipar, which will proceed with the payment on the agreed-upon date.
In the case of service charges, a Service Invoice will be issued with a description of all work performed.
