Green Seal was developed by Ambipar Certification and has the seal of INMETRO.
Titan Pneus is the first company to receive the Green Seal from Grupo Ambipar, a specialist in environmental management.
Developed by Ambipar Certification and validated by the General Accreditation Coordination of INMETRO (National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology), the Green Seal attests to compliance with legislation, recovery of waste, participation of companies in the circular economy and compliance, in different levels of the PNRS (National Solid Waste Policy) requirements, adding more value to the business.
In addition, the certification can also qualify as to the “Landfill Zero” and “Circular Economy” practices of the audited companies, ratifying their character and commitment to the environment and sustainability.
“We are very happy to receive the Green Seal from Ambipar. Our mission is not to cause environmental impacts to the soil, water, air and ecosystems”, celebrates Edson Tebaldi, director general of Titan Pneus.
According to him, about 98% of all waste generated at the company’s factory is recycled, co-processed and used in composting.
“The Ambipar Certification Green Seal, the first with the seal of INMETRO, confirms our commitment to the Circular Economy”, points out Tebaldi.
Titan has been an Ambipar customer for over 15 years. “We know all its processes closely and having it as the first company to receive the Green Seal makes us extremely satisfied and certain of this recognition”, explains Elaine Moreira, technical director of Ambipar Certification.
