Ambipar Response – a reference in crisis management and onshore and offshore emergency response – will hold on December 7th and 8th, 2022, the National Workshop and Mega Simulated with Dangerous Products, respectively, in Nova Odessa. The purpose of the meeting is to expand knowledge in the area of ​​prevention, preparation and response in emergencies involving products that are dangerous or aggressive to the environment, through the sharing of knowledge between environmental agencies and institutions in Brazil, such as the Fire Department, Civil Defense, Civil Police, among others, to disseminate good practices and/or successful cases.

For the workshop, four panels are scheduled with specialists and authorities in the field of regulation, management and action in response to the emergency that will discuss new proposals for the development and improvement of the segment in the country. The tables will last an average of 1h30 each, taking place in the following order:

Table nº 2 – Accident Statistics and Inspection in the Transport of Dangerous Goods

Table nº 3 – The performance of environmental agencies in the inspection of environmental accidents

Table nº 4 – Organizational Response Structure (EOR) Ambipar Response Brasil

As for the Mega Exercise Simulated with Dangerous Products, it was established that the practices of the existing protocols for emergency care be carried out, with the objective of improving and reducing the TR (Response Time) of the exercise, as well as carrying out the conference of the standardization of communication and procedures (technical and operational) for better management in the integrated command system.

According to Ambipar’s Director of Institutional Relations, Comendador José Lúcio da Silva, the event is a great opportunity for alignment between institutions and exchange of experiences. “We develop from the moment we can share knowledge and share our learning. Today we are here to do this with great partners and, in this way, promote the improvement of initiatives related to emergency care, in order to contribute to the excellence of practices and processes” – he concludes.
