Risk Management Program (PGR)
PGR is a document that sets the directives of a management system, aiming to provide a systematic way to set requirements, containing general management guidance for the accident prevention in facilities or potentially hazardous activities.
PGR Types of UN Engineering:
PGR Roads: According to Board Decision No. 070/2016/C, from CETESB, a PGR consists of the documentary consolidation allowing the formulation and implementation of technical and administrative procedures and measures, aiming to reduce and control risks, maintaining an activity operating under safety standards considered tolerable throughout its service life. In the context of road transport of hazardous products, PGR aims to reduce the frequency of accident occurrences, as well as to minimize the consequences resulting from these events.
PGR Industry: According to the Technical Guideline P4.261 Technology-Originated Accident Risk - Decision method and reference terms, from CETESB, PGR is based on a set of standards, procedures and technical instructions structured and applicable to the activities carried out on the company's premises, aiming at the recognition and assessment of environmental risks, as well as the planning of priority actions for the elimination or reduction of these risks, in addition to seeking to maintain a facility operating within safety standards considered tolerable throughout its service life.
PGR Transport: According to the ABNT NBR 15480 Road Transport of Hazardous Products – Risk management program and emergency plan, PGR consists of a document that establishes technical and administrative mechanisms for the preventive management of risks arising from the transportation of hazardous products, aiming to reduce and control the factors that contribute to the occurrence of accidents with hazardous products.
Industrial Risk Analysis
Document setting the policy and directives of a management system, aiming to prevent accidents in potentially hazardous activities or facilities. Applied to companies, carriers, road concessionaires, terminals and pipelines. Studies are performed based on reference standards specific to the client´s business.
